Description | This newspaper clipping is part of the "Colorado Street Bridge - Making it Suicide-Proof" folder donated to the library from the Public Works department. Since the opening of the bridge in 1913, many people had taken advantage of the low fence to jump off the bridge. The Engineering Department was told to make the bridge suicide proof. This folder is their work in that regard. Gift from Art Krieger, April, 2013 |
